She is preceded in death by her parents,Teodoro Espinosa and Candida Espinosa Reyna; brother, Domingo Espinosa; her sons, Rosendo Roel Flores, Jesse Flores; and grandson Jake Morin. She leaves behind her husband, Ramon Flores Jr.; children, Rene Flores (Belinda), Lupita Garcia (Oscar Elliott), and Robert Flores (Sandra Ozuna); her grandchildren, Miranda Torres, Nikki Treviño, Rosendo Roel Morin, Robert T. Flores Jr.,Michael Flores, Bobby Rene Flores, and Megan Flores; her great grandchildren Bailey Madison Morin, Destiny Renee Flores, Brianna Torres, Arianna Torres, Annalia Renee Flores, and Lucas Flores.
Mary Lou Flores, born in Edinburg, Texas, was a lifelong resident of the community. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she devoted her time and efforts to help her family. She married her true love and cherished their 65 years together.
Mary Lou was passionate about gardening and found joy in the beauty of flowers. She was the proud mother of five children, two whom have passed on, and she shared a special bond with her oldest and youngest sons.
Mary Lou adored her grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. She took great pleasure in cooking for her family, with her favorite dish being carne guisada served with rice, beans, and tortillas. Thanksgiving and Christmas were particularly special to her, as they brought her family together to celebrate.
Her loving and caring nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mary Lou leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 10 pm, with 7 pm prayer on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Visitation will resume at 8 am, with a christian service at 9:30 am, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Funeraria el Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
