Jose Daniel Salinas

EDINBURG- Jose Daniel Salinas, age 38, left to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 13, 2018 peacefully at his home after a long struggle with brain cancer. He was born on March 4, 1980 in McAllen, TX to Hermilo Salinas and Herminia Salinas and was the youngest of five brothers.

Joe was an avid collector of hot rods, Harley Davidson, and loved to hunt and fish. He graduated from Edinburg High School in 1998.

Joe was preceded in death by his older brother, Eliseo Salinas. Joe is survived by his parents Hermilo Salinas and Herminia Salinas; his sons: Jose Daniel Salinas Jr., Gadiel Ivan Salinas, Jovan Andres Salinas; three brothers: Mario (Alicia) Salinas, Hermilo (Esmeralda) Salinas Jr., Fernando (Eloise) Salinas; sister-in-law, Dacia Salinas of Edinburg, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 2 pm to 9 pm with a rosary recited at 7 pm at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 pm, October 17, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley of Pharr.
