Jesus Martinez Jr.

Born in San Juan, he lived in Aurora, Ill. and lived in Pharr. He was family oriented and loved his children. Mr. Martinez enjoyed driving his dog Jerry in the golf car, he attended a daycare, and socializing. His family and friends will always remember his warm smile and charisma. His favorite day of the year was his birthday because he would celebrate. Jesus loved all the people in his community at Winter Haven. Mr.. Martinez loved his mother, his three sisters, and a brother. He also enjoyed having coffee with his father. Jesus will live forever in the hearts of all the people who were blessed to have meet him.

Jesus was preceded in death by his son, David Martinez.

He is survived by his five children, Jesus Martinez, III, Adriana Martinez, Sidney Martinez, Nathan Martinez, Fay Martinez; his mother, Apolonia Ochoa; his father, Jesus Martinez Sr.; four siblings, Willie Martinez,

Maria Ornelas, Sandra Monarrez, Julia Favela; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family. His childhood best friends, Chris, Mark, and Vince.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
