Cristina C. Garcia, age 48, of Pharr, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter, she is survived by her daughter Julianna Cavazos, 2 older brothers Arnulfo Garcia, Victor Hugo Garcia, and sister Analee Platas. Known for her humor and wit. Cristina was the foundation of her family, always ready to uplift those around her with her humor and warm smile.

Cristina had a passion for cooking and baking, often filling her home with the comforting scents of her delicious creations. She cherished long drives with a cup of coffee in hand, taking the beauty of the world around her. Her daughter was her pride and joy, and she devoted her life to creating cherished memories together.

A holiday enthusiast, Cristina especially loved Christmas, eagerly participating in every festive tradition. Her dependability and straight forward nature made her easy to talk to, and her friends and family appreciated her blunt honesty and genuine support.

Cristina’s spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a family that will forever cherish her memory and the love she instilled in their hearts.

Visitation for Cristina will be held Monday, October 7, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm with a 7 pm rosary at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, Texas 78577. Catholic service will occur at 10 am on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
