Patsy Jean (Pat) Younts, age 78, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Pat was born August 6, 1940 in Chriesman, Texas to Andrew and Florene Seigler Ryan. Pat was a Registered Nurse and worked for many years in the medical field. On October 15, 1960 she married the love of her life, Richard Younts. Together they traveled the world exploring many beautiful destinations. During their nearly 59 years of marriage they called many places home, including Temple, College Station, Arizona, Chicago, Tokyo, Austin and Georgetown. In addition to traveling, Pat loved cooking, golfing, dancing and was an accomplished painter. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Florene Ryan; two sisters, Margaret (Dot) Barfield and JoAnn Schott and her son, Kyle Rayce Younts. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard Younts; daughters, Rhonda Tappan and Marcy Meyer; and three grandchildren, Kylie Nicole Tappan, John Rayce Meyer and Ella Rae Meyer.
The visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Monday, July 15, 2019 at Cook Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 N. IH 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. Funeral Services will be held 1pm Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the funeral home with burial following at Cook Walden Capital Parks Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Meyer, Dirk Younts, Jeff Younts, Craig Baugh, Brian Baugh, Michael Younts and Scott Gibson.
