Miguel Angel Mancha

Our brother, Miguel Angel Mancha, 33 years old was born on January 30, 1981 and was called by the Lord on October 29th, 2014. One of Miguel’s hobbies was to box, and like a true boxer, he fought to the end with all his might and strength to win against a horrible disease called cancer. His boxing name was “The Fighting Mancha”, and just like his name, he fought the match of his life like a true champ. Miguel worked as a mechanic at Don Hewlett Chevrolet for many years. Not only was Don Hewlett his work place, but a place where he created many friendships. Miguel truly enjoyed and loved to be with family and friends. He was very loving and involved in his nephew’s lives. He was often looked upon as a brother. He was known to them as “Bobo”. He was a very athletic person who enjoyed running and working out. He was extremely proud of being a part of the Round Rock High School football team. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and a Notre Dame Football fan. He was truly the Dallas Cowboys #1 fan. Miguel was always available to lend a helping hand to whoever needed his help. He will truly be missed by all.

Miguel is being received with open arms in heaven by God, and is celebrating his arrival with his mother Petra Mancha, his biological mother Alicia Ramirez, and his grandparents. He leaves this world knowing he has left many special memories in our hearts and minds. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Leopoldo Mancha Sr.; brother, Paul Mancha and wife Rebecca Mancha; sister, Elizabeth Araujo and husband Juan Araujo; nephews, Paul Mancha Jr., Sebastian Mancha, Tristan Mancha, and John Araujo; and his niece, Isabella Mancha, all from Round Rock, Texas. Miguel has touched many lives with his laughter and random acts of kindness. He leaves behind many friends.

The family would like to thank God for his infinite mercy and for always being a loving, compassionate, and forgiving God. We would like to thank Don Hewlett Chevrolet, for their continued support and love for our brother Miguel. We would also like to give a special thanks to Lucy Villarreal who many times took him to his medical appointments and was very supportive. We would like to say thank you to his friends who continuously visited him at the hospital and at the assisted living facility. He always commented after your visits, “That was fun. I had a good time.” We would also like to express our deep appreciation to the many people who formed prayer lines and prayed daily for Miguel’s health, to the choir members of St. William for sharing their talents, and to Steve and Mary Reyna for checking up on him daily while he was at home. We thank you all for loving Miguel and for sharing many special moments. May those memories be engraved forever in your hearts and minds. We would also like to thank Miguel for being a part of our lives. We love you and miss you very much.
