Mary Alice Ludwig

Our beloved mother, Mary Alice Kunze Ludwig passed away peacefully at home at the age of 96 on April 3, 2013 surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Raymond E. Ludwig, Sr.

She is survived and her four adult children: Henry Ludwig, Sr., and wife, Joan; Robert Ludwig; Ray Ludwig, Jr., and wife, Michelle; Betty Ludwig Flentge and husband, Ron; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one brother: Arthur Kunze of Canyon Lake, sister-in-law, Laura Kunze of Creedmoor and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Alice is remembered for her loving heart, devotion to her family, kindness to others, and wonderful home-cooked meals.

We rejoice that she is now in her heavenly home with Raymond and other family members who have gone on before her. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

We want to thank all the wonderful A-Med Hospice nurses for the love and wonderful care to our beloved Mother. We are also grateful to Rev. Cynthia Kepler-Karrer for faithfully ministering to us during this time. Also, thank you Oneta Steaples and Samantha Massey for loving and caring for Mom the past two years of her life.

Serving Mary Alice as pallbearers will be: Henry Ludwig, Jr., Mark Ludwig, Joshua Ludwig, Billy Ray Ludwig, Michael Weimann, Cameron Weimann and Ryan Flentge.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, April 5, 2013 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 6, 2013 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill.
