Maria del Carmen Valenzuela, 69, of Round Rock, Texas, passed from this world on April 5, 2019, to join her Lord and beloved family waiting for her in Heaven. She was born in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, on February 26, 1950, and lived most of her life in El Paso, Texas.
She married Manuel Adolfo Valenzuela on June 7, 1969 and, sadly, became a widow and a single parent at the very young age of 22. For that reason, she lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed every moment with family and friends. Leaving everything behind in 1995, Carmen moved to Round Rock, Texas, to be closer to her only child, Frances, and help raise her two grandchildren. It was in Round Rock that she found her partner, Andres, who would be by her side and love her endlessly for the remainder her life.
Carmen loved her family with all her heart and tirelessly did anything and everything she could for them. Her daughter and grandchildren fondly remember her as incredibly giving, an amazing cook, an awesome dancer, extremely funny and always entertaining, and our rock.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria del Magdalena Arledge, her husband Manuel A Valenzuela, her two sons Manuel Adolfo and Adolfo Raul Valenzuela, brothers Ernest Arledge and Daniel Arledge. She is survived by her daughter, Frances Marie Hines, her son-in-law, Wade Hunter Hines, her 2 grandchildren, Mark Christopher Pinales and Hannah Gabrielle Pinales, her sister Elizabeth Bonilla and her partner, Andres Arrioja.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2019 at St. William Catholic Church in Round Rock, Texas followed by a committal service in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
