Marcy Jan Eaton

Marcy worked at 3M for 27 years and during that time was the 3M chief medical officer, she retired from 3M in 2014. Marcy was part of the 3C Cowboy Church in Salado, Texas where she had many friends. Marcy loved going to Texas Longhorn football games and was a season ticket holder for 23 years.

Marcy was taken great care of at Baylor Scott & White Cancer Center in Round Rock during her treatments. The Family would like to also thank Baylor Scott & White ICU 3rd floor Doctors and Nurses for taking care of her during her last days.

Those left to Cherish Marcy’s memory are: Mike Eaton (husband) of Taylor, TX; Mitzi Fonseca (daughter) of Georgetown, TX; Michelle Meaker (daughter) and husband Todd Meaker of Thorndale, TX; Christine Sorlazono (grand-daughter) and Angel Sorlazono (husband); Alyssa Iannone (grand-daughter) and Madison Holman (fiancé) of Round Rock, TX, Eric Iannone (grandson) of Taylor, TX; Ron Meaker (grandson) of Thorndale, TX; Alexa Anderson, Anthony Martinez, Isaiah Martinez (great-grandkids) of Gun City, TX; Darann Tetreault (sister) and Fran Tetreault (brother-in-law) of Universal City, TX; Sandy Winnett (brother) and Cynthia Winnett (sister-in-law) of Temple, TX; Starky Winnett (brother) and Carolyn Winnett (sister-in-law) of Troy, TX; Shelly Bukes (sister) and Jim Bukes (brother-in-law) of Honolulu, HI; and many nieces and nephews that she loved.

A visitation for Marcy will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 12, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
