Manuel Alvarado Orona Jr.

Manuel Orona joined his beloved wife, Laura in eternal rest on November 26, 2021. At 52 years of age, Manuel was full of life and lived in a way that truly reflected his great love for his family. His contagious smile will be forever remembered by his family and friends.

Manuel treasured his family and was always there for anyone who had a need. He was an incredibly hard worker but made it look effortless to ensure his family and friends knew with confidence that he was there for them through trying times.

Aside from being a family man, he was incredibly generous with his time and effort to support "Just Because," a charitable organization that ensures families in need would not go without during the Christmas Season. He left an unforgettable impression on anyone that had the pleasure of crossing paths with him. He lived a life of great purpose, and his legacy will continue to make an impact on all of those who loved him.

Manuel leaves his courageous son, Bryan Orona and loving daughter, Amanda Tucker and her husband Jay. His mother Mary and stepfather, David Freeman. In-laws, Tino and Lucy Hernandez. Brothers and sisters: Joe Orona and wife Rachael, Priscilla Orona, Christina Stover and husband Keith, David Freeman and wife Chantelle, Mark Hernandez and wife Laurie, Cynthia Gonzales and husband Luis, Lisa Zeman and husband Danny, Daniel Orona, Roy Villareal, Mario Orona, Sheila Orona. Additionally, Manuel leaves his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who all loved him.

The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to "Just Because" or "Stand Up To Cancer."

A visitation for Manuel will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 2, 2021 9:00 a.m. at Saint William Catholic Church, 620 Round Rock West Dr., Round Rock, Texas. Following will be a committal at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
