Julian R. Gonzales

Julian is preceded in death by his parents, mother, Anita Guzman and father, Julian Gonzales Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Gonzales; his loving daughters, Anna Cruz, Mary Lupita Cadena, Sylvia Gonzales, Theresa Vijarro, JoAnn Gonzales and Julie Ann Gonzales; his loving brothers and sister, Joel, Jimmy and Laura Gonzales. He will be lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

His joys were his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, landscaping, welding and playing the saxophone.

Julian had a smile so bright and a laugh so grand that you would never forget it. He always had a caring and happy heart, refusing to take life for granted. He cherished everyone around him endlessly. There are no words to describe how much he will be missed. He will forever remain in our hearts.

Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, January 29, 2017 starting at 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons Road, Austin. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville.
