James Bernard Moye

James Moye was born on October 14, 1955 and departed this world on January 1, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

James lived a life marked by dedication, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to his family. He was a loving husband to his wife Marva.

James was a proud and devoted father to his three children, Ken, Karonda, and Kory. His love for his children was evident in the way he provided guidance, support, and unconditional love throughout their lives. His influence will forever resonate in the values and principles he instilled in each of them.

As a grandfather, James embraced the joys of family life with open arms. He leaves behind a legacy in his grandchildren, JR, Jacob, Nyla, Kory Jr, Jacee, and Paris. They will forever treasure the memories of his storytelling, playful antics, and the love he showered upon them. His presence in their lives was a source of comfort and joy, creating a bond that time cannot diminish.

A man of many talents and interests, James approached life with a spirit of adventure. From family gatherings to quiet moments at home, he had a knack for creating an atmosphere of warmth and joy. His smile, laughter, and the twinkle in his eye could light up any room, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

James is survived by his wife, Marva Moye; Son, Kenyon Moye; Daughter, Karonda Moye-Johnson (Meryal); Son, Koryan Moye (Narrie); Grandchildren, James Moye Johnson, Jacob Moye Johnson, Koryan Moye, Jr, Nyla Anderson, Jacee Johnson, and Paris Moye.

A visitation for James will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. The Funeral will be 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, in the Walden Room of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, with the interment to immediately follow in the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
