Glenn Timothy Bolden was born on November 12, 1956 to Betty Faye Bolden in Georgetown, Texas. He lived in Weir, Texas with his mother and grandmother, Hattie Bolden. They later moved to Georgetown, where he graduated High School. Friends there knew him as “Tim McCray.” Following high school, Glenn went into the Army.
Glenn was a very outgoing person, and took pride in his appearance, always dressing to impress. He worked several years in the health care profession, helping others. He took great pride in working at the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin as a security guard.
Glenn had a strong faith in God and attended church on a regular basis. He loved playing chess and telling his spooky stories and jokes to his children.
Glenn is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Faye Hattley, stepfather, Bub Hattley, and his sons, Casey Harrison and Tito Bolden.
Glenn leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Meka Thomas, LeDaniel Harrison, Chris Denson, Champagne Bolden, Glynna Bolden; his stepdaughter, Starr Denson; as well as, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will also be missed by his brothers, Zachary Bolden and Howard Bolden; and his sister, Tishia Hattley.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with committal services following.
