Charles Scott "Scotty" Nixon

We lost an angel here on Earth on August 20, 2017. Charles Scott Nixon was born on July 18, 1967 and was a gift to anyone that knew him. He was a wonderful son to Ruth Krey and Charles Nixon; an amazing brother to Kristi Brown; and a one of a kind uncle, cousin and friend. He left many behind to mourn his loss.

Scotty was preceded in death by his father, Charles Nixon and his mother, Ruth (Lou) Krey. Scotty is survived by his sister, Kristi Nixon Brown; his nieces, Brook Brown and Ashley Brown; his nephew, Christian Brown; and his former brother-in-law, Matt Brown, all of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by two aunts, Cindi Fennell of Austin and Pam Nixon of Maryland; his uncle, Bud Nixon of Maryland; cousins, Nicole Resh of Austin and Andy Nixon of Maryland; his fur baby, Piper; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Please celebrate Scotty and remember his love for family, nice cars, loving on his dog, and his compassion and thoughtfulness.

Friends may pay their respects starting at 9:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Committal services will follow at the Mausoleum of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
