Bruce retired from the US Air Force and then from a second career at the State of Texas as a social worker.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends left to cherish his memories including his wife Nancy Jacobs of Pflugerville, TX; son Bruce Anthony Jacobs and wife Linda of Round Rock, TX; daughters Nancy Dawn Jacobs Burch and husband Rex of Harleysville, PA and Sandra Kathleen Jacobs of San Marcos, TX; step-daughter Gillian Chauncey of Austin TX; sister Eva Lois Jacobs Williams of El Campo, TX, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, 3 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2015 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
