(Veteran of WWII) Peacefully at Caressant Care McLaughlin Road, Lindsay on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Veronica Malone. Dear father of Joan Gamble (Late Charles) of Tiny Twp., Jane Nolan (Bud) of Midland, Daniel Sautner (Janice) of Georgia, Mary Gilbank (William) of Pontypool, Suzanne Weir (Jim) of Dominican Republic, and the late Patrick Sautner. Will be remembered by Patricia Sautner. Loving grandfather of Jeanette Klatt (Brad), Claire Sautner, Geoffrey Sautner, Lori MacDonald (Kevin), Dan Gamble (Alexandra), Maureen Rego (Bernie), Carolyn Gamble (Kelly), Gayle Semenchuk (Gerald), Michelle Nolan-O’Hara (Sue), Jennifer Railer (Bill), Brian Gilbank (Allison), Jonathan Gilbank (Cindy), Timothy Gilbank (Meghan) and Sarah Richardson (Chris). Great grandfather of Maia, Charlie, Elliot, Leo, Elizabeth, Margaret, Allyson, Jenna, Jackson, Jordan, Matthew, Marin, Maddie, Alyssa, Ben, Zachary, Jillian, Charlotte, and Jacob. Brother of the late Theresa Stratton, Cecilia McCabe and John Sautner. Friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm on Sunday. Funeral mass will be held at the CATHEDRAL OF ST. PETER IN CHAINS, 411 Reid Street, Peterborough at 2:00 pm on Monday December 7, 2015. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery.
