Margaret "Bernice" Davidson Irwin

Peacefully, on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. Joseph’s at Fleming at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Andrew Irwin (1977), her parents John and Vera Davidson, her sister Ellen Marie, and her brother William. Lovingly remembered by her sister Alice (Ross) Wetherup, and her brothers Gerald (Jean) and Ronald (Anne) Davidson, and her best friend and companion Percy Runnalls. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great- nephews, relatives and friends.

Bernice graduated from Peterborough Business College and worked many years with G.E. and also for George Street United Church as their secretary. She had a great love of music and entertained at many senior homes.

The family will receive friends at KAYE FUNERAL HOME ‘MEMORIAL CHAPEL’, 539 George Street North, on Wednesday, January 13, from noon to 1:00 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel. Interment at Sandy Lake Cemetery in Lakehurst. In honour of Bernice, donations to L.A.W.S., Peterborough Humane Society, or the Parkinson’s Foundation would be appreciated.
