Cavanagh, Anna “Jean” – At Hospice Peterborough on Thursday November 21, 2024 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Cavanagh. Loving mother of Gerry Cavanagh (Barb), Barb Cromie (d.) her husband J.D. and Kate Lines. Grandmother of Tracy Dimock (John), Amy, Amanda Prentice (Warren), Cheryl Myers, great grandmother of Megan, Emma, Madison, Gracie, Avery, Claire and great great granddaughter Myla. Predeceased by her parents Angus and Bernice Twomey, her brothers Bill, Jerry, and Ralph Twomey and her sisters Alma Lawrence and Bernice Cummings
Visitation will be held at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 24, 2024. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Ennismore on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 11:00 am . Interment St. Martin’s Cemetery. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Princess Gardens, Dr. Matheson, the Palliative team at P.R.H.C and the staff at Hospice Peterborough for the wonderful care given to Jean.
