Herbert Francis Griffin

Griffin, Herbert Francis passed away suddenly at Fairhaven on Saturday, July 14, 2012 (Mom’s birthday) in his 92nd year. Loving husband of Leona for 64 years, predeceased 2007. Dear father of Sharon Hoenen, predeceased 2008. Also father to Nancy (Ron) Bidgood, Cathy (Bob) Fredericks, Ted (Cathy) Ward-Griffin, Dave (Cheryl) Griffin, and father-in-law to John Hoenen. Cherished grandfather of Mark and Derek, Shelley and Jay, Danielle, Alicia, Michelle and Robbie, and great-grandfather of eleven. Co-founder and past President (’56) of the PCCHL, retired 44-year employee at C.G.E., horseshoe enthusiast and lover of all things family. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Dad’s life at the Kaye Funeral Home, 539 George Street North, on Monday evening, July 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Tuesday, July 17th at 11:00 a.m. Internment Rosemount Cemetery. Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
