Peacefully passed away at Extendicare, Peterborough Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 94 years of age. Beloved father of Roy (Laura), Brian, Linda (Ron), Carol Jones, Brenda Clarke and Barbara (Greg) Smith. Grandfather of John, Janice, Melissa, Cherie, Tammy, Julie, Darren, Michael, Jessica, Marsha, Alex and many great-grandchildren. Brother of Ruby; predeceased by his siblings Vera, Evelyn, Harold and Art. Gordon was a WW II Veteran; he was an oil burner service technician having worked for Kelly’s Fuel Oil and Vince Dainard Heating. Visitation will take place from 2-4 & 7-9 on Tuesday at COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 25, 2012.
