LLOYD, Douglas, T.H. – Retired farmer, retired manager of Peterborough Buffalo Farm. Former employee of CGE and recently a driver for Coach Canada. Avid hunter & fisherman. Member of Selwyn Church & Peterborough Christian Fellowship. – Unexpectedly, at home amongst his family, on Sunday, February 14, 2010 in his 74th year. Doug was the beloved husband of Diane (nee Storey) for 52 years. Loving father of Heather Huisjes (husband Andy), Debbie Nayler (husband Phil), Doug Jr. (wife Jill), Susan Adlam (husband Rick), and Tracy Parker (husband Jason). Dear Grandpa of Daniel, Joseph, Tyson, David (wife Leah), Darrel, Kaitlin, McKenna, and Keegan. Brother of Eleanor Best (husband Walter), Lois Tackas (husband Frank), Ray Lloyd (wife Margaret-Anne), and David Lloyd (wife Diane). He will be also be remembered by many other relatives and friends. Visiting will be held at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, on Thursday, February 18, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A celebration of Doug’s life will be held at Selwyn Outreach Centre (Lakefield Highway) on Friday, February 19, at 2 pm. Pastor Stephen Best will officiate. Cremation to follow.
