HILL, Dorothy Alice (nee Northcott) – The family of Dorothy Alice, aged 98 years, are saddened by her passing at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit on February 7, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Donald W. Hill. Cherished mother of Susan Merz of Germany, Judith Dantzer and her husband Stephen of Alberta and the late David Hill. Proud grandmother of Tilman, Franziska and Jonas Merz of Germany, Christina Tims (John) and Sarah Tutt (Wade) of Alberta and great grandmother of Cassidy, Chloe, Ivy and Allie Tutt and Hunter and Paisley Tims, all of Alberta. Pre-deceased by her parents Alfred and Dorothy Northcott and brothers John and Victor Northcott. Dear aunt of Brian, Robert, Beverley, Edward, Nancy and the late David and great aunt of many. Dorothy had a wonderful life and will be sadly missed. Many thanks to the staff of Royal Gardens for their caring support. Thanks also to the Palliative Care Staff at PRHC. Above all, the family wishes to express gratitude to all friends who have contributed to Mom’s life during her senior years. At Dorothy’s request, a private family service will occur.
