It is with great sadness that the family of David Creech announces his passing on Saturday July 23, 2022. Surrounded by his family Dave passed away peacefully at home in his 81st year. He leaves behind Lynn (nee Adamthwaite), his beloved wife of 56 years. He was the loving father of Sharon (Steve) Malone and James (Laura), and grandfather to Ayleigh and his little buddy Ewan. He is predeceased by his parents Victor and Gladys Creech, and his brother Ross. He will be greatly missed by his nephew Don of Orillia and many other family members and friends.
Dave worked for many years at Viskase Canada in Lindsay where he built a reputation for being an honest, trustworthy and dedicated member of the sales and service team. He was truly valued by his co-workers and customers across Canada.
As an active member of St. James Anglican Church, Fowler's Corners, Dave’s kind smile and willingness to lend a hand will be greatly missed by his church family.
Dave and Lynn enjoyed lots of travel adventures together over the years and many winters in Texas. He loved camping and sunset cruises of Pigeon Lake on his pontoon boat. A loyal friend and neighbour, Dave was always happy to help others, never saying no. He was a hard working guy, always fixing something or redesigning it to be more efficient. We will miss him forever.
Respecting Dave’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a service celebrating Dave’s life On October 15, 2022 at 1 p.m. with visitation the hour prior. A private interment will be at Emily Cemetery. In memory of Dave, please consider donations to Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre, the Omemee Food Bank or St. James Anglican Church.
