Andrew Charles Young

Amidst the turmoil of this world, we lost a good man, a good friend, and a good father. Andrew Charles Young’s passing on Saturday, June 1, 2024 in his fiftieth year, leaves us all saddened and shocked. Caring father of Emily and Hannah, partner to Lisa Clarke. Son of Dennis Young and Anne Young, brother to Jennifer Young and Scott Young. Uncle to Tyler Ruttan, Zack Ruttan, Madison Mountney, and Emma Young.

He graduated from St. Anne's elementary, and St. Peter’s high school. He played church league hockey throughout that time and was a fanatical Habs fan.

After high school he spent some time in Lake Louise, Alberta. His love of the outdoors was evident from early on.

He spent his whole career with MasterBrand Cabinets, helping put ‘boxes on walls’ for almost a quarter century.

He met his partner Lisa in his twenties, with the birth of their first daughter, Hannah May 16, 2000 and later Emily September 16, 2005, he dedicated his life to supporting and caring for them.

If he had a chance to escape the hectic life we live he could be found hunting, fishing or enjoying the natural beauty of Algonquin Provincial Park.

He enjoyed sitting around a campfire and talking with friends and family, sharing in each other’s hospitality.

Anyone who met him would know he was a good man.

He will be missed by all those who knew him well.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 21 from 5:00 to 8:00 at Farmhill Weddings and Events, 2709 Dillon Road, Keene. With Tributes from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
