Thelma E. Wood, 93, of Peoria, IL passed away Tuesday March 29, 2011 at her residence. Thelma was born March 18, 1918 in Mossville, IL to William and Mable Baine Salter. She married Russell Wood on December 13, 1937 in Peoria, IL.
Surviving are three grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, four brothers, five sisters, and two grandchildren.
Thelma was a homemaker who loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday April 1, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Northwoods Community Church. View Thelma’s life story at www.davison-fulton.com
