Sharon Robinson

She was born March 17, 1952 in Peoria to James A. and Frances (Schneller) Withers.

She married James F. Robinson on November 11, 1972. She is survived by her husband, daughter Dr. Terry F. Robinson (Dr. Joshua Milstein) of Ann Arbor, MI., son Steven A. Robinson of Grovetown, GA., and grandchildren Allie and Carter Robinson. Also surviving are brothers J. Michael (Pat) Withers and Joseph Withers of Peoria; sisters Catherine (Lou) Paff of Sewickley, PA, Ann Robertson of Springfield, IL, Mary (Ed) White of Metamora, IL and Patricia Withers of Peoria Heights, IL. Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.

Sharon was a nurse for more than 20 years in the Peoria area, last working at Illinois Eye Center in 1997. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, oil painting, reading, sailing, volunteering and her two beloved canine companions. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Peoria and the IVY Club.

Cremation will be accorded and a visitation will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2010 from 5 to 7 pm at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 10:00 am at Fellowship Bible Church in Peoria. Pastor Roger Bowers will officiate.
