Lois Ann Scharp

Lois Ann Scharp, 76, of Peoria, passed away on Wednesday August 16, 2023 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on October 24, 1946 in Bell County, Kentucky, a daughter of Willie Lock and Alice (Cornett) Lock. Lois married Gary W. Scharp, the love of her life for over 40 years. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2020 in Peoria.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and six brothers and sisters.

Lois is survived by her five children, Darrin Naslund of Fon du Lac, Wisconsin, Kevin Naslund of Charlotte, North Carolina, Scott (Alyssa) Naslund of Mapleton, Gary (Jennifer) Scharp of Peoria, and Toby Scharp of Peoria Heights; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister, Barb Mayes of Peoria; brother, Al Lock of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.

Lois worked for Pabst Brewery until it's closing and then worked for the Pearl Companies. She was an avid fan of Bob Seger. Lois especially loved spending time with her family. She loved collecting anything from Hallmark.

Lois's celebration of life service will take place at a later date. Inurnment will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
