Lawrence Perry Johnson

He was born January 13, 1952 in Osceola, Arkansas the son of Rev Johnny and Viola Goodlow Johnson. He married Helen Dority on June 11, 1988. She survives.

He is also survived by one son, Patrick (Tanya) Johnson of Jonesboro, AR; two daughters, Tabitha Yankaway, and Taffie (Maurice) Bell both of Peoria ; 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy (Doug) Wight of Luxora, AR, and Kathy (Johnny) Williams of Memphis, TN; three brothers, Robert Stevenson of Sacramento, CA, Bruce Stevenson of California, and Johnny (Carolyn) Johnson Jr of Peoria; and one special nephew, Eric (Ilene) Canty of Gosnell, AR.

Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents; one son, J.T. Yankaway Jr.; one grandson, Darreese (Pooh) Roddy; and one sister, Jewel Brownlee.

He was a machinist at Rohn Products LLC until his retirement.

Lawrence was a member of New Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Friday July 22, 2016 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Bishop Joseph Johnson will officiate.

Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
