Keith R. Furniss

He was born on September 2, 1946 in Peoria to Raymond and Eleanor (Milliman) Furniss.

He married Carol Comerford on July 8, 1990. She passed away on June 29, 2023. He was also preceded in death by his parents and son in law, Tim Davis.

Keith is survived by his children, Debbi Davis and Kristen (Todd) Heaton ; step-children, Lynn Middleton, Debbie Haeger, Scott (Cheryl) Pitcher, Tricia (Jim) LeFante, and Jason (Tara) Helfter; 23 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

He graduated from Peoria High School in 1964 and Mid State College in 1967. He worked at Caterpillar for 33 years in the Computer Dept. retiring in 2003.

Keith played dartball in the Greater Peoria Church Dartball League since 1960 and in the Peoria Catholic Dartball League since 1972.

Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria. Deacon Mark Wilder will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Inurnment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
