Evelyn L. Miller

She was born August 20, 1925 in Forest City, a daughter of Howard and Bessie Tomlinson Zimmerman, she married Merle H. Miller on January 25, 1947 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are three children, Dr. William (Anne) Miller of Springfield, Jackie (Larry) Kelch of Kickapoo, and David (Lori) Miller of Peoria; six grandchildren, Angie (Brad) Onion, Dr. Rob Kelch, Dr. Rebekah Miller, Martin Miller, Chad Miller, and Katlyn Miller; one great grandchild, Fletcher Onion; two brothers, Virgil Zimmerman of Delavan, and Robert Zimmerman of Empire, MI; and one sister, Lorene Krieling of Forest City, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Zimmerman and Donald Zimmerman, and one sister, Shirley Brown.

She was a member of the Winter Senior Bowling League, 123 Square Dance Camping Club, and Memorial Christian Church in Peoria.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2010 at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home 2408 W. Willow Knolls Rd. in Peoria. The Rev. Arvil Bass will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Garden in Peoria.
