Elizabeth was born in Colchester, IL on August 3, 1930 to Henry Earl and Nellie Mae (Hunter) Rhodes. She married George Kent Oglesby on December 28, 1947 in Colchester,IL. He survives
Also surviving are her two children, Mary Ann Klein of Morton and Stephen Kent (Norma) Oglesby of Lemoore, CA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Darlene (Johnny) VanHoose of Fresno, CA and Earl Kent Oglesby of Lemoore, CA; and one great-granddaughter, Priscilla VanHoose.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Pat Crawford, and her son-in-law, Mike Klein.
Elizabeth was a manager at Top Value Stamp Store for many years and was a former member of the Peoria Emblem Club #121. She enjoyed Crocheting afghans, doing word find puzzles, playing bingo, traveling and fishing.
A funeral service will be 10:15 am on Saturday, December 2, 2023 with visitation from 9:30 am until the start of the service at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Burial will follow the service at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
