Dolores Andres

Dolores C Andres, 84, of Peoria, passed away at 4:35 pm Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Apostolic Christian Skyline in Peoria. Dolores was born March 8, 1931 in Elgin, IL, the daughter of Arthur and Melva Davis Campen. She married Jack W Andres on December 28, 1956 in California. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2012. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Marie Andres of Evanston, IL. She is also preceded in death by her parents. Dolores was a proud graduate of the University of Illinois. She received her Masters in Spanish at a University in Mexico. Dolores taught Spanish at St. Louis University and Peoria High School. She lived in Brussels, Belgium from 1970-1973 for Jack’s work at Caterpillar. This gave the family a chance to see Europe. Dolores was a member and volunteer at her church, The Chapel. She also did volunteer work for the Republican Party. She loved animals and bird-watching. Graveside services will take place at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, IL.
