She was born October 5, 1927 in Peoria, IL., the daughter of Walter and Cirona (Guth) Knoll. She married John (Jack) E Harland July 29, 1950 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on January 30, 2001. Her parents, one brother Raymond Knoll, two nephews Mark Knoll and David Beam also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Robert (Jodi) Harland of Peoria and Paul (Beth) Harland of Novi, MI., two sisters, Esther Cooper of Peoria and Eileen Wissell of Davidson, NC.; and four grandchildren, Nate Harland, Aubrie Harland, Will Harland and Anna Nimmo.
Clarice worked for Price Administration and First Federal Savings. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Peoria where she was a member of the Women's Circle and Guild. She also volunteered at the Neighborhood House and Concordia Lutheran School.
She loved her Lord, her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her long lasting friendships, and her "Woo-Woos" since kindergarten. She was a loving, generous, and caring woman to everyone she knew and met.
A visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 22, 2018 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Peoria. Pastor Jack Mackowiak will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
