He was born Sept. 10, 1933 in Peoria to Harry and Ella (Keyser) Noack. He married Georgetta Nevils on April 27, 1957 in Sedalia, MO. She survives along with three children: Greg Noack of Peoria Heights, Cindy (Jim) Stevens of Trinity, TX, Cheryl (Randy) Leach of Metamora, three granddaughters: Jenipher (Justin) Whitfield of Peoria, Alicia (Adam) Davis of Katy, TX, Samantha (Cody) Stevens Krueger of Bartonville, seven great-grandchildren: Rylee, Halee, Camrin, Colton, Skylar, Lennon, John, and one sister, Louise (Joe) Wells of Metamora.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers: Harry, Bob, and Bill Noack.
Chuck joined the US Air Force during the Korean War in 1953. He went to Radio Operator School at Biloxi Miss. to be an Airborne Radio Op. He was an operator on a C 47 mostly taking men to Japan for R&R. After a year in Korea he returned to stateside duty in Missouri flying on K C 97 refueling tankers. During this time he met Georgetta. Also during this time he spent 90 days in Greenland. He worked in advertising at Klaus Radio and then worked at the US Post Office as a letter carrier where he retired from in 1992. Chuck was a member of Peoria Heights Congregational Church. He was very active in the church, including being a member of the Mens Club, Deacon, Trustee, youth leader, usher, finance, and building and grounds committee. He was also a member of the Bartonville VFW, and was the Grand Marshall for the Peoria Veterans Parade in 2019.
Chuck and Georgetta enjoyed fishing, traveling, and playing golf. Family was always the most important thing to Chuck. Anyone who knew Chuck knew he was a lifelong die hard Chicago Cubs fan.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Peoria Heights Congregational Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery with Military Honors.
