After graduating from Galesburg Senior High, Betty worked for Western Adjustment Company in Galesburg, and then transferred to their Peoria office. After her children were born, she chose to stay home and care for them and their home.
In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, and her favorite places to visit were the Caribbean and Hawaii. She enjoyed flying and taking train trips. She also loved to travel to her grandchildren’s many events. Betty was along for the ride – She had a good time no matter what she was doing as long as she was with people she loved. She cherished time spent with her family and liked to cook, craft, and sew. In her younger years, one of her favorite things to do was roller-skate. She was kind, caring, and willing to help anyone in need. Her husband Dale is confident that he has a new guardian angel.
