Beth Arlene (Cone) Carlson

She was born on March 26, 1924 in DeKalb, IL the only child of Harry and Mary (Freeman) Cone. She married Dale H. Carlson on April 3, 1947 in Kewanee, IL. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2018 in Peoria.

Beth and Dale lived on a farm near Kickapoo for nearly 50 years. Their last years were spent at Proctor Place in Peoria, IL. Beth worked at L. R. Nelson Mtg. Company for 20 years and was a member of the local PEO. Beth enjoyed gardening, was an avid bridge player and spent much of her time reading historical fiction novels. She also loved spending time with her family.

Beth graduated from Rock Island High School and Augustana College in Rock Island. She was a member of University United Methodist Church.

Beth is survived by her three children; Cindy (Keith) Worner of Green Valley, IL, Rick (Rosemary) Carlson of Plattsburg, MO, and David Carlson of Peoria, IL; grandchildren; Jenny (Aaron) Heider of Huntley, IL, Sarah Worner of Del Mar, CA and Rachael (Justin) Clopton of Covington, TX; and great-grandchildren, Violet Heider and Sutton Beth Clopton.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
