She was born September 11, 1943, in Waukegan IL, to Byron and Suzanne (Parrish) Criswell.
Surviving are her children, Chris (John Forst) Hopkins of Huntertown, IN & Mendham, NJ; Patti (Don) Thorne of Naperville, IL; Bill (Jennifer) Hopkins of Aurora, IL; five beautiful grandchildren, Jack and Parker Thorne; Will, Drew and Madeline Hopkins; and sister, Betsy (Ray) Higginbotham of Marietta, GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Nancy.
Barb spent her childhood and high school years in Waukegan and Arlington Heights, IL. She attended Bradley University.
Her passions included her friends, family and grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3p.m. November 17, at Davidson-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.
