Tammy was born on July 28, 1965 to Joseph and Betty (Kick) Bieniewicz in Michigan. She was the 2nd of 5 children and was raised in Center Line Michigan. She graduated from Centerline High School in 1984.
In her younger years Tammy loved to go on family trips and vacations; many of which were to visit family in Pennsylvania whom she loved to see whenever she could. She enjoyed going on walks with her siblings and their grandpa to Kmart where she’d be totally spoiled by him and then take the bus back home. She also enjoyed going to carnivals, concerts and hanging out with friends. Tammy was a girl scout, a paper girl, and enjoyed babysitting a lot, as she always loved kids!
In 1985, Tammy had her first and only child, her son Alan who was the light of her life. There was nothing in the universe she wouldn't do for him throughout her years and always made sure he was alright no matter what. She always looked after and took care of his friends or anyone that was dear to him as well.
Tammy was a presentations expert at Target and loyally devoted 18 years to the company until her passing. She also worked part time as a keyholder at Family Dollar and spent 8 years with them. Tammy previously worked as a department lead at Burlington for 4 years where she was sadly missed after she left.
Tammy had many trials and tribulations in her life as we all do, but overcame them all and in 2000 married the love of her life Shadrick Thomas on December 28th; whom she remained happily married to for the past 22 years.
Though she lost her father in 2014, which hit her very hard, she strived to live her life to make him proud.
Tammy had many interest and hobbies through her life such as music, collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia, tv shows, movies, especially lifetime movies and she surely loved her popcorn. She also liked cooking, knitting, baking and spending time with family and friends. Tammy loved camping, hiking and going on trips. She was a den mother and a boy scout leader and was always involved in school functions. Tammy would always support and contribute to important causes whether it be on her own, through work, or doing walks to support breast cancer or other things with her sister Pam, mom and son. She always tried to do what she could for good causes. Tammy loved animals and always had a pet in her adult years, which was usually a dog.
She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bieniewicz and her maternal grandparents Reba and Clement Kick and paternal grandparents Joseph and Bernice Bieniewicz and many great uncles and aunts.
She is survived by her husband Shadrick Thomas Sr., son Alan Bieniewicz, step son Shadrick (Amber) Thomas, Jr., mother Betty Bieniewicz, grandsons Phoenix and Zane Thomas, brothers: Joseph (Krissy) Bieniewicz Jr., Brian (Kristie) Bieniewicz; sisters, Betty(Edward) Andres, Pamela Bieniewicz; mother and father in law Alisa & Judge Mims, sisters in law Michelle Thomas and January (Daniel) Green; Christopher Daw a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and her dog Capone who were all deeply, loved by Tammy along with many family, friends and coworkers.
She truly was a completely selfless and amazing woman who touched and improved countless lives. She was loved by so many that it's incomprehensible. Tammy will be deeply and dearly missed. She will forever be in our hearts and on our minds from now until the end of our time.
