Robert Douglas “Doug” Ingram, age 85, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2013. He was born August 12, 1928 in Molino, Florida to the late John Greene Ingram and Sally Broxon Ingram.
Doug was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was the Past Master of Brentwood Masonic Lodge #363. He loved shrimping, fishing, hunting , traveling, gardening and had been very involved in the Tate High School Band several years ago. Doug was the owner and operator of J.D. Buck Ingram Electric and Ingram Signalization.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jewel Devon Ingram, John Glendel Ingram and Lemuel Griffith; and a sister, Frances Ballard.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 63 years, Marlene Ingram; his beloved daughter and beloved and devoted son-in-law, Traci Ingram-Gay and Bob Gay of Pace, FL; his sister, June Blackburn of Ranburne, AL.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 3 PM with Dr. Dale Patterson officiating. Entombment will follow in Bayview Memorial Park with military honors and full masonic rites. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Nelson, Martin Beck, Donnie Wilson, Tony Kuhl and Robert Lautier. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until the service hour.
