Alice was suddenly taken from us on 7-9-24 she was 89 Years Young. Alice was the heart of our home and family, she raised 6 children, several grandchildren and one great grandchild. Married to Charles Walter Burns Jr. who proceed her in death
Alice, survived by her sister Bernedette Burns ( Dwight Burns}; 6 children: Mary Kathryn Swatek "Kay",
Charles Walter Burns III "Chip", Kelly Jean Caro, Bryan Patrick Burns, Scott Edward Burns, Dennis Michael Burns; 19 Grandchildren, 14 Great GrandChildren and special mention to Aiden Charles Burns, whom Mom regarded as her own Son.
We were all raised in a loving home and to be independent and thoughtful adults. Alice was the kind of Grandma who enjoyed spoiling her grandkids rotten. Our Mother was a loving, kind and strong Irish woman with a heart of gold, who devoted her life to her children. She was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing her. Alice was the heart and soul of our family and will be dearly missed.
Services will be held at Crossview Church, 4945 Saufley Field Rd., Pensacola Fl, 32506, Wednesday, June 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
Following the Celebration of her journey home we will meet in the Church Fellowship Hall where food will be served.
