Mary Ann Wesner

1930-2014

Mary Ann Wesner went to the open arms of our Lord after living 84 years. She was born to Birdie Mae Cooksey and Exo Moore, Sr.

Preceding her in death are Larry Wesner, her husband, and James Moore and Norma Hearn siblings. Cherishing her memory are Exo Moore II, Sue Arbor, Kathy Norcross, siblings; Garry Wesner;and Debbie Dodd (Nelson) children, Rachel Hix, Haley Dodd granddaughters and Bella her great granddaughter along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was a kind and loving wife, mother and friend. She loved her Red Hat friends and her Myrtle Grove Bapstist church friends and Keenagers where she served faithfully for 55 years. Her favorite hobbies included sewing and gardening. She shared many gifts with many folks her whole life.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 3:15 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Pouliot and Rev. Al Butler officiating. A private interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, May, 16, 2014 from 6 until 8 PM. In lieu of flowers a donation to Myrtle Grove Baptist Church food pantry would be greatly appreciated. Condolences may be made to the family at www.oaklawnfunerals.com.
