Linda Foley

Linda Oglesby Foley, born on July 9, 1946, in Pensacola, Florida, passed away on September 25, 2024, in Cantonment, Florida. She is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose greatest joy came from her family.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jimmy Foley Sr, Mother Kathryn Thomas, Father Clarence Oglesby, Brother Tommy Oglesby, Sisters In-law, Gwen Chappell and Sue Patterson and Brother In-law Cliff Chappell.

Linda is survived by her two sons, Jimmy Jr. and Scott Foley. She cherished her three grandchildren, Katie Gaylard (Jason), Brittney Foley (Kyle Barbour), and Justin Foley, along with her beloved great-grandson, Kason Gaylard.

In addition to her immediate family, Linda is also survived by her sister-in-law but more importantly best friend, Shirley Oglesby, and brother-in-law, Doug Patterson along with numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly.

Those who knew her know she was always ready to give you the hard truth no matter how much you didn't want to hear it. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

A graveside service will be held Monday, September 30th, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Farm Hill Fellowship Church Cemetery.
