Kurt A. Shultz, 53, of Pensacola, peacefully passed away on November 18, 2016. He was born on January 17, 1963 in Westwood, New Jersey and was the son to Eileen and Joseph Kenna and the late Robert E. Shultz. He was a Boy Scout and earned Eagle Scout at 14 years of age. After graduating catholic school he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was aboard the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier. Following his navy enlistment, Kurt became a mechanic for 25 years in New Jersey before moving to Pensacola.
In addition to his loving parents, he leaves behind his brother; Robert D. Shultz (Ida), sister; Janet E. McKenna of Agawam, MA, 3 nieces; Kristen, Kelli, and Jackie McKenna. He will be remembered as a master of trivia and a great reader.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Oak Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial mass will be Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 8:30 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Oak Lawn Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
