Kevin was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Pensacola in June of 1996 from Vint Hill Farms Military Base in Virginia. Kevin retired from United States Army as Sergeant First Class. Kevin also retired from the Veteran Affairs.
Kevin was the director of riders of the American Legion Post 240. He loved riding his motorcycle. He loved playing disc golf with his son. He loved the beach. But Kevin’s most favorite thing was spending time with his family and friends.
Kevin was a beloved husband to Donna Marie Summers. Kevin was a beloved father to children Leslie Marie Manes, (Matt Manes) and Matthew Bart Summers, (Trena Summers). Kevin also has two stepchildren Kristen Rahain, (Paul Rahain), Vanessa Shirley, (Jeremy Noffke). Kevin was a beloved brother to sisters Theresa Close, Gale Cyrus, (Steve Cyrus), Randi Boyd, (Mark Alford) and Karen Quinn-Carrier. Kevin also had three brothers Michael Summers, Keith Summers and Darrell Emanuel, (Carl Emanuel).
Kevin was preceded in death by his mother Janice Ingalls and his brother Bartholomew Summers.
Kevin had 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Makay Manes, Makenzie Manes, Jordan Murphy, MaKeon Manes, MaKlayn Manes, Koby Summers, Kaia Summers, Julian Noffke, Layla Summers, Lucas Rahian, Tessa Summers, Alora Summers, Liam Rahian, Myles Manes, Sawyer Wrangler, Crosley Wrangler, Marlon Manes.
A Visitation for Kevin will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506. With Funeral Service to follow from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm. Graveside Service immediately after from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508.
