Justin B. Cox, 31, ended his battle with kidney disease early Monday morning, 4/20/15, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Justin was born on 4/04/1984 in Baltimore, MD. He grew up in Bel Air, MD, attending Hickory Elementary School, Southampton Middle School, and Fallston High School. Justin decided to relocate to Pensacola, FL, in 2005, where he met the love of his life, Rebecca Howie. Together they brought three beautiful children into this world: Nolan , 8yrs, Kyleigh, 7yrs, and Kieran James, 18 months. He is leaving behind his mother, Erin Cox, of Pensacola, FL; father, Terry Cox, of Bel Air, MD; birthfather James Moretz, of Baltimore, MD; grandparents, George Schilling and the late Barbara Schilling, of Bel Air, MD; grandparents, the late Fane & Glenna Moretz, of Perry Hall, MD; brother James Wade Cox, of Pensacola, FL; and sisters Lindsay Cox, and Sara Cox. both of Bel Air, MD.
Justin has worked in the auto body/paint field at various shops throughout MD and FL, and most recently, construction work in the Pensacola area. He loved the beach, whether it was Ocean City, MD growing up, or the beautiful white sands of Pensacola Beach. Fishing was his passion, that's what brought him his peace. The only thing he loved more was the company of Rebecca and their three children. Justin's love for children began very early in life, and his children were truly his heart and soul. Justin was fortunate enough to have his brother Wade as his best friend, through thick and thin; their closeness is indescribable. Justin took great pride in his Irish heritage, and family meant the world to him. He leaves behind many loving cousins, aunts and uncles in MD. His wonderful smile and his kind heart will be missed by all here on earth, and heaven has gained a fabulous shining soul. Justin's life was cut short by a rare blood disease, which caused end-stage renal disease. He spent much time at Fresenius Medical Care on Moreno St., where a loving staff of angels gave him the utmost of care and support. He suffered greatly this past year, but God chose to end that suffering, as his Mom held his hand and he slowly left this world, finding his peace at last.
