Jessica Jade Whittaker

Jessica was born July 8th,1992 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida.

Jessica attended Myrtle Grove Elementary, Brown Barge Middle School, West Florida High School and Pensacola State College.

“Jess” was the nickname used by her family and friends as well as “Whitt” by her co-workers at the Oar House Restaurant in Pensacola where she worked as a server.

Jess was known to her friends and family as a vivacious young woman who enjoyed making people laugh and also loved animals, especially her two cats; “Marco” and “Polo”.

Jess also loved spending time outdoors; hiking, skateboarding, bicycling, canoeing and spending time fishing with her dad.

Jess had her own unique sense of style and loved fashion.

Thrift store shopping with her mom or sister was one of her favorite activities, looking for bargains and finding designer clothes, shoes and accessories, especially her wide variety of quirky and unique sunglasses that she always wore.

Jessica Jade was a bright shining star that faded way too soon.

Jessica is survived by her father: Clay Whittaker, mother: Virginia Cotman and sister: Gillian Fetterman.

A visitation for Jessica will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506, followed by a memorial service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
