James Clifford Powell

James (Jim) Powell, age 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 7, 2015 to be with the love of his life Sarah. James was a loving husband, father and grandfather. James was born in sulfur, LA on July 15, 1921. Before retirement James was employed by Cam Electrical Sales, Atlanta, GA. He traveled the Southeastern United States and sold Commercial Electrical Equipment and never met a stranger. James was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years Sarah Powell; parents George Arthur and May Sue Powell; brothers, Roy Powell, Earl (Babe) Powell; great granddaughter Lisa Powell; great grandson infant Baylor Mills Wilson. James is survived by his daughter Cynthia Powell (Edward) Mills; granddaughter Lindsey Mills (Chance) Bownds; son Kenneth (Mary) Powell; grandchildren Pam (Don) Sales, Kenny Wayne (Stephanie) Powell and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Bayview Fisher - Pou Chapel on Tuesday June 30, 2015 from 9:30 am until the 10:00 am funeral service. Interment for James, Sarah and great grandson infant Baylor Mills Wilson will follow the service. The Rev. C. Neal Goldsborough will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 6479 Caroline Street, Suit B Milton, FL 32570.
