She was the wife of Thomas Edward Lord, they shared many happy years together. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Guest and Ethyl Arlene Suggs.
Mom worked for Monsanto for 19 years, various other places but her last job was with The Council on Aging, which she worked as a caregiver for 12 years before having to retire due to health problems and also to take care of her husband. The Council on Aging was her most favorite and rewarding job as she so often said. She loved each and every person she took care of and they loved her. She received many commendation over the years but, her greatest joy came from caring for her patients/friend as she called them all.
She took care of her husband until he passed on June 8, 2004. They attended several Assembly of God Churches over the years. She enjoyed doing ceramics day in and day out often sitting at her kitchen table late at night. She had a ceramic shop where she taught classes, spending many days on hours painting for others, making them happy.
She loved her Lord, her Husband, 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and just about anybody she came in contact with.
She is survived by her 5 children: Theresa Thrower (Robert), James Farrington (Debbie), Lamar Farrington (Julie), Linda Creel and Alan Farrington, She also leaves behind 3 brothers Gary Biggs (Brenda), Buddy Guest and Eddie Suggs (Kim).
