Elmer Shrock

Elmer Shrock, 61, of Pensacola, died Thursday, September 23, 2010.

Elmer was born February 19, 1949 in Uniontown, Ohio to Enos Shrock and Sevilla Raber Shrock. He moved to Pensacola in 1993. Elmer worked as a Diesel Technician for Wayne Dalton Garage Doors for 23 years in Ohio and Florida. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Pensacola.

Elmer was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Graber Shrock; son, Ronald Lee Shrock and wife, Trudy; grandchildren, Jessica McPhillen and Gavin Lee Shrock; great grandchild, McKenna Rae Cutlip; brothers and sisters, Eli Shrock (Pat) of Goddard, KS, Enos Shrock, Jr. of Berlin, OH, Martha Wagler (Willis) of Sugarcreek, OH, Arrie Ledsome (Fred) of Hartville, OH, Al Shrock (Dorothy) of Hartville, OH, John Shrock (Betz) of Navarre, OH, Marie Kandel (Wendyl) of Berlin, OH, Ray Shrock (Jodi) of Massillon, OH and Paul Shrock (Jackie) of Millersburg, OH.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 27, 2010 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Locke officiating.

Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Gaydon, Bill Stark, Johnny Tyus, John Gallahger, Ronnie Crooke and Kevin Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Quinn and Cole Smith.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the funeral home and from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., Monday at the church.
