David George Williams

He was an Angel on earth, as his family we are a bit bias. David was born September 9, 1936 in Brockton Massachusetts. He joined the United States Army. Served at the Carlisle Army War College where he met Evelyn Williams his wife. They began an adventurous life together. The U.S. Army took them places they dreamed of, Germany, Colorado, Texas, Hawaii, Washington D.C., California and served in Vietnam 1969. After 30 years David retired from the U.S. Army in 1988. David and Evelyn moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1989 to enjoy their retirement with many old and new friends. David loved golfing, scuba diving, swimming, and bowling.

Dave leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years Evelyn Williams, step-son Donald Showers(Joann), their sons Dylan Williams (Natalie), Trent, and Wyatt, KyLar and girlfriend Chelsea, step brothers Mike and Mark, step sister Toni, and sister Gean.

A Visitation for David will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with Funeral Service 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, and Graveside Service immediately following from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Barrancas National Cemetery.
